78 An-Naba' The Great News Ibn Kathir - English muhammad JAMAL Chapter FOLLOW US Verse And We created you in pairs 078 An-Naba. This is a Makki Surah and it is titled after the word An-Naba, or the great news, mentioned in the second verse, which refers to the coming of the Day of Resurrection. The time for the occurrence of the Day of Resurrection is fixed, and it will commence with the blowing of the horn. An-Naba Verse 8 وَّخَلَقْنٰكُمْ اَزْوَاجًاۙ ( النبإ: ٨ ) wakhalaqnākum وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ And We created you azwājan أَزْوَٰجًا (in) pairs Wa khalaq naakum azwaaja ( an-Nabaʾ 78:8) Sahih International: And We created you in pairs.
